July 4th Giveaway (Reminder)

As June is coming to an end, we just wanted to remind everyone that there are still 9 days to enter the first Quacker Gift Shop giveaway! It’s really easy, all you have to do is comment on our Facebook page about your favorite 4^th of July activity. We’ve had quite a few entries but we know there are more of you out there that would love some free stuff.

As an extra incentive, we would like to talk a little bit about some of the hot sauce in the giveaway. Danny Cash’s 1%er hot sauce is the hottest sauce you can get in Colorado! But, you can't forget about the killer taste, made with Naga Jolokia Chile Pepper (the hottest in the world!) it has a nice smoky flavor that's extremely popular.

If you know anyone who loves hot food, or ducks, you can sign up for them too!

Hello everyone! It’s time we go a little bit more in depth about the Quacker Gift Shop giveaway on July 4^th. The giveaway basket will include:

1 bottle 1%er Danny Cash hot sauce (super delicious and the hottest you can find!)

1 jar 1%er Danny Cash salsa (a Quacker favorite!)

3 pack of assorted Danny Cash hot sauces

1 bottle of Jolokia Ghost Danny Cash wing sauce

3 Quacker chefs at your disposal (fantastic as moral support for the chefs you know)

2 flame ducks to heat the cooking up

1 Devil duck to bring out the fun in the holiday season ;)

That sounds like a fantastic recipe for a summer BBQ…maybe on the July 4^th weekend?

The whole basket retails for $68 and all you have to do is tell us about your favorite 4^th of July activity!

Duck of the Day – A mystery for now.

We are starting a new tradition at Quacker Gift Shop. Every day we are going to pick one duck from our collection, and declare it the duck of the day. They will be posted to Facebook, and Twitter. Hopefully we will be able to explain why each duck belongs with the day that it's on, but it might be difficult! Once the tradition has been started we will be looking for help from anyone who would like to give suggestions for duck of the day. Just choose the duck, the day, and why you think they belong together!! We will be checking the blog, Facebook, and Twitter for ideas so feel free to use any or all to let us know about which ducks you think are deserving of this Quacktacular title!

The first Duck of the Day will be posted today! Keep a look out!

The Manitou Springs Quacker Gift Shop is now OPEN!!

Our hard work is paying off! Today we get to open a second store at 738 Manitou Ave. in Manitou Springs. Our goal was to make the second Quacker Gift Shop just as special as the first, and our hopes are that the store will flourish in such a wonderful environment. We want to make our store part of the Manitou Springs community as well as part of the experience involved in visiting the area.

The new store will have a famous “wall of ducks” as well as the standby specialty duck selections, duck goodies of all sorts, and our very own Delish Bodyworks line of soaps. In addition to all of the usual suspects, this new store will branch out into some more “standard” gift shop items. For the most part we will be focusing on bringing Colorado-made products of all types into the store (only good things can come from supporting local business right??).

We will be working hard over Memorial Day weekend making sure the new store runs smoothly and keeping both stores comfortable and fun; but that doesn’t mean we don’t want to see you! Stop by, enjoy yourself, and be amazed by the extensive and fantastic collection of Quackers. We have ducks of all sizes, suitable for all ages, that can bring a smile to absolutely anyone!! :-)

Before the big day on May 27^th, the building will be getting an all new paint job, as well as quite a few other improvements. It looks a little messy now, but soon it will be the perfect home for the second edition of your favorite Ducky Super Store! The new Quacker Gift Shop will feature all of the usual Quacktacular products, as well as some new ones. We will be carrying a line of jewelry by 180° Design and some scrumptious hot sauce, condiments, and mixers made by Denver’s own Danny Cash.
