Iditarod - Duck of the Day #272

Hi Quacker fans! Today is the official start of the Iditarod, the Alaskan sled dog race. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious race in North America (originating from the treks that sled dogs would make across the state before the inventions of planes.

I don't think that coverage airs on public television (correct me if I'm wrong!!) but you can watch online and get detailed coverage at iditarod.com. It starts at 4PM Mountain Time today but it lasts for quite a while, so get excited and pick a winner.

Have a Quacktastic Sunday everyone!
